S98/05 nA S Abg 'Butcher' bayonet having had the saw-back officially ground off (S Abg. = Sägerücken abgeschliffen). The bayonet has a flash-guard and steel scabbard. Third Reich : Adolf Hitler's "Mein Kampf".

Nice original red-linen hardback edition with gold titles, 16.5cm x 11cm printed in 1941. This is a combination of volumes 1 & 2 and is stamped on the title-page with the stamp of 'Kriegsmarine * Kommando der Marinestation Nordsee * Abteilungbücherei'. The book has obviously been used and shows some minor wear but is complete.  read more

Black bakelite-bodied compass with sight and reading-mirror cover complete with leather lanyard, Working order and in excellent condition. Manufacturer's code and mould-number '2' appear on the casing underside.

Third Reich : Wehrmacht M1935 Dispatch Case (Meldekartentasche).

Brown pebbled leather case for wear on the belt in excellent condition with all straps and buckles in place and all stitching strong. Approx size 27cm x 19cm. I can find no makers mark or date on the case but under the flap there is an original owners name which is crossed out but his rank of 'Ogfr' is still visible. It would appear that an inner divider has been period removed.  read more

Imperial : German 1871 Pattern (S 71) Bayonet with Bavarian-style Scabbard.

S71 brass-hilted sword-bayonet with brass-mounted scabbard with Bavarian style strap-loop rather than the more common frog-stud. Steel parts darkened with time but no rust, and the spring is in good working condition. Overall a nice example. The ricasso bears the makers mark 'Gebr. Third Reich : Wehrpass and Post-war British Zone Personal Pass.

Wehrpass for Wilhelm Wilmskötter, born 14th March 1890 in Langendreer, Bochum who registered for service in October 1943 at the age of 53 and was categorised as for Landsturm IIC.
The British Occupation Zone pass is made out to Willi Wilmskötter in Bochum whose birth-date was Mai 1927 so presumably he was the son of Wilhelm !  read more
