HMS Maxton (M1165) was a Ton-class minesweeper built by Harland and Wolff in the 1950s.
She was decommissioned in 1988 and sold for scrap in 1989.  read more

Coloured postcard showing a painting of an Unteroffizier of the (Königliche Sächsische) Schützen (Füsilier) Regiment Prinz Georg Nr.108 (Dresden) in field uniform, 1914-15. The card was issued to raise funds for the Red Cross and bears this information on the reverse. The card has a handwritten message and was posted to Erwin Geisler in Landsberg an der Warthe on 28 December 1915.  read more
