Third Reich : Police Officers Dress Sword (Polizei-Führerdegen) with Scabbard & Knot.

A very desirable example of a police officers dress-sword by Paul Weyersberg of Solingen. Overall length in scabbard 94.5cms, blade length 80cms. Excellent clean blade with no staining and all nickel plating to the hilt intact and showing virtually no wear. The black wood grip has all silver wiring present and in top condition with a bronze police eagle emblem on the front. The scabbard retains all its black paint finish with minimal signs of aging with plating to top and bottom fittings intact. The scabbard has no dings or damage. The sword is completed by a police knot in fine condition.
