WW2 Royal Navy "H.M.S" Cap-tally.
Full-length WW2 ribbon with gold woven title "H.M.S." .At the start of World War 2, for security reasons sailors stopped wearing cap-tallies showing their ship's name. Tallies bearing HM Minesweeper and HM Destroyer were eventually replaced by a universal tally bearing only "H.M.S." This tally has been worn and has a small click in the embroidery on the 'M' otherwise very good condition. read more
