Brass wreath surrounding a cockade enamelled in the national colours with a separately attached fouled anchor in the centre. Above the central cockade is a separately applied red enamel star. The reverse has two long fixing prongs plus smaller prongs securing the separately applied elements of the badge. 1950/60s.Some spotting to the brass but overall very good condition.  read more

WW2 Royal Navy "H.M.S" Cap-tally.

Full-length WW2 ribbon with gold woven title "H.M.S." .At the start of World War 2, for security reasons sailors stopped wearing cap-tallies showing their ship's name. Tallies bearing HM Minesweeper and HM Destroyer were eventually replaced by a universal tally bearing only "H.M.S." This tally has been worn and has a small click in the embroidery on the 'M' otherwise very good condition.  read more

Chrome with green enamel centre Queen's crown helmet badge, 8cms high. The reverse has two lugs and split-pin fixing.
In 1958 this police force ceased to exist when it was amalgamated with Stoke-on-Trent City Police to form Staffordshire Police Force.  read more
