This bronze un-named South African Police Medal for Faithful Service was introduced in 1963 to recognize members of the South African Police (SAP) and Reserve Police Force who had demonstrated exemplary conduct and irreproachable character . It was initially awarded for 18 years service but in 1979 this was reduced to 10 years and the medal was finally withdrawn in 2004.

This award was established in 1936 by the Kingdom of Italy for personnel who took part in Mussolini's military operations in East Africa in 1935 and 1936 which were the Second Italo-Ethiopian War. The medal is often simply called the Ethiopian Campaign Medal. The Italian Republic abolished the medal in 2010.  read more

Nice original German Imperial Prussian enlisted ranks' field-grey cloth "Krätzchen" with bright red cap-band and piping around the crown. The front has the national red/white/black cockade above the Prussian black & white state cockade. There is some discolouration and paint-loss to the white on the national cockade.
