Unique large battery pennant for 437 Battery RA. It is 2.35 mtrs long complete with rope halyard and toggle. Printed flag-cloth with white numbers individually stitched on, all in first-class condition. There is a manufacturer's cloth label stitched on the halyard sleeve reading 'Adam & Lane & Neeve Ltd., Falcon Works, London E.3'.

The Royal Artillery did not carry colours, their guns were their battle honours. Battery and regimental pennants were however used to identify individual units.
