A lovely near mint male membership stick-pin of the RAD (National Labour Service}.. Silver and completely undamaged enamel larger size version (22mm wide) of this membership badge. The reverse has a long lightly knurled stick-pin fixing along with a number of stamps. These include 'Ges gesch. the 'RJAD' triangle plus the makers logo of C,T,Dicke. Three photos measuring 21.5cms x 16.5cms showing different views of the aircraft carrier.. The reverses carry various stamps including censor's stamp and are dated 1958.
HMS Victorious was launched on the Tyne in 1939 and had a very active WW2 career contributing, among many other actions, to the sinking of the Bismarck. She was eventually scrapped in 1969.

Rare Original WW2 "Join The Home Guard" Banner.

Beautiful original WW2 one-of-a-kind banner in excellent unused condition measuring 233cm x 80cm. White canvas with edge reinforcement, tape ties at each corner and with each red letter individually stitched-on.
This banner came from the long-lost redundant quartermaster's store stock which I acquired a few years ago.  read more
