This Portuguese bayonet was designed for use with the 6.5 mm M1904 Mauser-Vergueiro rifle
The Portuguese M1904 bayonets are believed to have been manufactured around the years 1904 - 1907 by Simson & Co. in Germany. It is thought that around 75,000 of these bayonets were completed before Portugal faced financial difficulties that prevented further production.

WW2 Bradford Home Guard Proficiency Award-badge.

Round silver / white-metal badge with blue enamel highlighting the central design. Around the edge is 'Home Guard Bradford' and in the centre 'Proficiency Badge'. The reverse has two lugs and split-pin fixing and is stamped with the maker's name 'Fattorini Bradford'. The award was introduced around 1941 and is believed to have been worn on the arm.

Brass and blue enamel circlet, 35mm dia., bearing 'Devon Special Constable'. The centre consists of the Devon coat-of-arms shield. The reverse has a buttonhole fitting which is stamped 'J.R.Gaunt London'.
