The Königlich Bayerische Kadettenkorps was a historical institution established in 1756 within the Royal Bavarian Army, It was a form of preparatory school for future officers and was a component of the Bavarian military system training young men for service in the Bavarian army. The cadets were educated and disciplined in preparation for their further military training and eventual commissioning as officers
