WW1 The Royal Irish Regiment Cap-badge.

Brass Irish harp of Erin surmounted by a King's crown with title scroll beneath as worn from 1902 until the regiment was disbanded in 1922 when the Irish Free State came into being. The reverse has a slider fixing which is stamped with the manufacturer's name 'Smith & Wright Ld. B'ham'. The slider also shows a crimp mark. Very good condition and quite scarce.  read more

Anodised aluminium gilt & silver cap-badge complete with slider fixing on the reverse. The slider is stamped with the makers name 'J.R.Gaunt B'ham'.
The 'Devon & Dorsets' were formed in 1958 by the amalgamation of the Devonshire Regiment and the Dorset Regiment. In 2007 the D&Ds became part of The Rifles. The badge has been worn but remains in very good condition.  read more
