Third Reich : Black Leather Pistol Holster dated 1942.

Small black leather holster to probably accommodate a 6.35mm Simsonpistole Model 1922 or 1927 with strap & stud flap-fastening. The reverse is stamped with the date '1942' and an oval stamp 'Eigentum Sicherungswache Wien' (property of the Security Guard, Vienna). Under the flap is a circular Third Reich stamp. Imperial : German S98/05 nA Bayonet with Scabbard.

Standard S98/05 'Butcher' bayonet with flash-guard and steel scabbard. The bayonet is marked on the ricasso 'Simson & Co. Suhl' and is dated 1915. The blade has been used and sharpened. The scabbard is in excellent condition with no dents but has been very nicely re-blued.
