Royal Mercian and Lancastrian Yeomanry Cap-badge.
Gilt metal and enamel consisting of a red enameled Lancastrian rose surmounted by a gilt ducal coronet. Superimposed on the rose is a separately attached silver double-headed Mercian eagle. The reverse has a slider fixing and is double stamped with the maker's marks of 'Firmin'. The badge is complete with its original Firmin packet of supply. Mint condition..
The regiment was formed in 1992 by the amalgamation of the two earlier yeomanry regiments and the cap-badge was introduced in 1994.
