The Light Infantry Regimental cap-badge.

Anodised aluminium Staybrite silver stringed bugle complete with correct red backing piece. The reverse has a slider fixing stamped with the manufacturer's name 'Dowler. Birmingham'. The badge has been worn but is in very good condition.
The Light Infantry was formed in 1968 from the amalgamation of four county light infantry regiments, SCLI, KOYLE, KSLI and DLI. Together with the RGJ, the regiment formed the Light Division. In 2007 the LI was merged with other light infantry regiments to form The Rifles.
