Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name which has age-darkening / tarnish to some of the lettering otherwise excellent condition.
HMS Charybdis (F75) was a Royal Navy Leander-class frigate built by the Harland & Wolff company of Belfast in 1968/9, She was affectionately known as the 'Cherry-B' and was the last ship to be built there for British naval forces until 'RFA Fort Victoria' of the Royal Fleet Auxiliary was launched in 1990.
She was sunk as a training target in 1993.
