Third Reich : Italian-German Afrika Medal.

Principally an Italian medal which when awarded to German personnel, was known as the Commemorative Medal for the Italian-German Campaign in Afrika. ( Erinnerungsmedaille für den italienisch-deutschen Feldzug in Afrika.).
This is a nice early deep bronze example by Lorioli of Milan complete with a length of 30mm wide German ribbon. The Italians used a narrower 24mm wide ribbon in the same colours. Excellent condition.
