This second-pattern badge (1938-45) consisrs of an open oakleaf wreath superimposed by a winged swastika, all in silver white-metal. The reverse has a long knurled stickpin fixing and bears the makers 'CEJ' logo of C.E.Juncker of Berlin. Excellent condition.  read more

Bronze medal instituted in 1907 and awarded retrospectively to soldiers who had been engaged in operations against the native Americans between 1865 and 1891, Originally the ribbon was all red but had the two black stripes added in 1917 (I believe to stop French WW1 soldiers mistaking the ribbon for the Legion d'Honneur).
