Machine-woven lettering in silver-grey on a green 50mm wide band. Full 39cms length. The band has some very minor clicks through service-wear and is in very good condition. The LSW was the air-raid warning service who wore air-force blue uniforms on which this arm / cuff-tilte was worn on either the upper or lower left sleeve.  read more

Dark bronze shield with Luftwaffe blue-grey cloth backing and steel (magnetic) backplate. All securing pins are intact. Remnants of the buff paper backing remain. Excellent condition.  read more

Third Reich : Honour Cross of the German Mother "Mutterkreuz" in gold.

Gilded and enamel cross with 18cm length of neck-ribbon. Second pattern cross with on the reverse the award's date of institution '16th December 1938' and a facsimile of Hitler's signature. This grade was awarded to mothers bearing eight or more healthy Aryan children.
Minor wear to the gilding which does not detract and the enamel.is in perfect condition.  read more

Imperial : German Prussian Long Service Clasp 3rd Class (1825 - 1913).

A pin-back clasp awarded for 9 years military service consisting of a silver-edged blackened iron bar bearing "F.W.III" in gothic lettering with the correct backing ribbon-plate.
King Frederick William I instituted these awards, a gold clasp for 21 years service, a silver for 15 years and the black iron clasp for 9 years.
