Nicely enamelled pin-back formation badge of the 71e Régiment d'Infanterie (71e RI) complete with typical French safety-pin type fixing on the reverse. The manufacturer's name 'Drago Paris' and the number 'H110' are stamped on the reverse.
This regiment was in existence from 1791 until its dissolution in 1963.
