German Marine / Naval Association gilt national eagle & swastika (24mm wingspan) with crossed swords, anchor and Iron Cross superimposed on its breast. The reverse is stamped 'Ges.gesch.' and has a knurled stick-pin fixing. All gilt is present and the black of the Iron Cross is intact. Worn from 1938 - 1945.

HMS Victorious was launched on the Tyne in 1939 and had a very active WW2 career contributing, among many other actions, to the sinking of the Bismarck. She was eventually scrapped in 1969.
