Circular brass (50mm dia) containing a stringed bugle in the centre with "Durham" above. The reverse has lugs at left and right with split-pin fixing. Lugs at top and centre have been removed for some reason. Excellent condition.  read more

The hallmark also contains the initials 'J.C' of Sir John Herbert McCutcheon Craig, Deputy Master and Comtroller of the Royal Mint from 1938.

Green card covered booklet, 140mm x 85mm entitled "Ersatzreservepass" for Jäger Reservist Christian Siegel (born 1869) in Prussia.
