WW2 British Empire Medal for Meritorious Service in original Red-card Titled Box.

Wartime awarded BEM named to 'James A.Carter' on original pin-back ribbon in its original red titled box. The box contains a hand-written card stating "Derek & Meriel's Grandpa Carter medal for risking his life in the Second W. War. Mentioned in Honours List in the reign George VI"
I have not researched this award but it will be interesting to do so. The medal is in virtually untouched...  read more

Late war issue zinc oval medal complete with ribbon (see photos) in brown titled paper packet. Reverse of packet has makers name 'Carl Poellath, Schrobenhausen'.  read more

Third Reich : SA Military Sports Badge in Silver (SA-Sportabzeichen in Silber).

Silvered-bronze pin-back award badge, stamped on the reverse of the swastika with the makers name 'W.Redo, Saarlautern' and on the reverse of the sword with 'Eigentum d. Obersten SA Führung' (Property of the Senior SA Leadership).
Some wear to the silver finish on the sword but nothing too drastic. The pin is magnetic. Generally good condition.  read more
