Third Reich : Army Casualty Memorial Card.

Card commemorating 25 year-old Gefreiter Jakob Wagner who was killed in heavy fighting on the Russian Front on 26th August 1943. This was at the very start of the Battle of The Dnieper (26th Aug - 23rd Dec 1943) which was the massive Soviet offensive which followed the failure earlier in the year of the German Operation Citadel.

First World War period gilded-brass and enamel lapel-badge for members of the Central Association of The Volunteer Training Corps. Overall height 38mm. Introduced in 1991 as an unofficial medal at the behest of the Royal British Legion to recognise those who served as national servicemen & women between the dates 1939-1960. The medal is complete with its titled Royal British Legion presentation case together with matching miniature and pin-back ribbon-bar. The medal is un-named / un-numbered. All are mounted for wear.
