Third Reich : Honour Cross of the German Mother "Mutterkreuz" in gold.

Gilded and enamel cross with 18cm length of neck-ribbon. Second pattern cross with on the reverse the award's date of institution '16th December 1938' and a facsimile of Hitler's signature. This grade was awarded to mothers bearing eight or more healthy Aryan children.
Minor wear to the gilding which does not detract and the enamel.is in perfect condition.
