Uncut strip of two machine-woven patches for the 8th Armoured Division which was formed in England in 1940. In 1942 it moved to North Africa where only one of it's brigades took part in the withdrawal to El Alamein.. The division was disbanded once victory had been achieved in North Africa although the flash continued to be worn by an RASC unit.
