White enameled rectangular gilt-metal badge with black / white / red border surrounding the Kyffhäuser monument. The reverse is marked 'Ges.Gesch.'and has a knurled stick-pin fixing. There is a very fine hairline crack in the white enamel field but otherwise very good condition.  read more

Wirebound booklet of 30 water-colour sketches covering numerous aspects of this huge NATO exercise in Germany in 1980. The exercise involved British, US and German forces over a wide area of Northern Germany. Very scarce four-sided A4 leaflet entitled "Anleitung für das Anlegen der leichten Gasbekleidung 39" (Instructions for donning the light gas-suit 39). The paper is a bit grubby and has certainly been used with a few minor edge nicks but is complete and overall in good condition.  read more

Hungary : WW2 Hungarian Army M43 Field-cap.

Standard pattern German M43 field-cap (Einheitsmütze) in ginger-brown material of the type used by SA-Wehrmanschaften, RMBO, etc. Two brown pebbled button front fastening with brown painted cockade with the national colours in the centre stitched to the front..
The cap is fully lined in a light fawn colour.

Bulgaria : Soviet-era Army Field-cap.

Olive-brown cap with button-down ear-flaps with original machine-stitched shield insignia in the national colours of Red / green / white. The ear-flaps button in place with olive-brown plastic buttons. The inside is lined with brown fabric and there is a soft white leather sweat-band. In the crown there is a printed cloth label bearing Bulgarian cyrilic characters and the size '58'.

Merchant Navy Bibby Line Fourth Engineer Set of Officers' Insignia.

Set of 4th Engineering officer insignia from The Bibby Shipping Line including a gold wire hand-embroidered officer cap-badge with the house-flag in the centre. Accompanying this is a pair of detachable epaulettes showing the purple-backed gold-braid ranking plus a pair of similarly purple backed rank cuff-rings.
