The hanger would be worn attached to the strap/clip inside a uniform jacket allowing the hanger to protrude out under the uniform pocket flap. Third Reich : NSDAP Party Second-pattern Membership Book.

Second pattern hardback red membership book made out in 1940 to Erwin Hiller (Membership No.376,241) who originally joined the party in 1930. The book contains 48 pages and includes subscription stamps from 1940 into 1942. His photo and personal details are included..
The book has had some skillful restoration work done on it at some time. Overall good condition.  read more

Third Reich : Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Dienstausweis (Service-pass booklet).

Brown booklet containing 32 pages issued to Eugen Walter from Oppeln and contains his photo riveted in showing him wearing RAD uniform with the rank of Truppführer. In 1943 he reached the rank of Oberfeldmeister. Plenty of entries throughout the book but sadly on page 15 (Orden und Ehrenzeichen) someone has spuriously added the award of the Blood Order !!

France : Médaille des Evadés (Medal for Escapers).

This medal was initially created in 1926 to commemorate escapes carried out by prisoners-of-war during World War 1. It was later extended to cover WW2. Servicemen who died as a result of injuries received during an escape were posthumously entitled to the medal.
30mm dia complete with ribbon. Some surface spotting but generally very good condition.  read more

Standard red hardback labour book issued by the Deutsche Arbeitsfront (DAF) measuring 15cms x 11cms with 32 pages. Issued to Karl Peter from Marburg and working as a Chemical Technician (Chemotechniker) for I.G.Farben in Frankfurt-am-Main. Dark-brown hard-cover membership booklet, 15cms x 11cms with 20 pages. Issued via the Reichstheaterkammer and made out to professional chorus-singer Leoni Evert whose photo is riveted on one page. Her membership began in August 1939 and there are some subscription stamps, the latest being in 1944.

Third Reich : Early Weimar / Third Reich Passport for a Woman.

Dark-grey card-backed "Reise-Pass", 16.5cms x 11cms with 32 pages. The passport is made out to a Maria Recker born in 1891 in Mönchen-Gladbach and contains her photograph. The passport expired in 1935. There are one or two entries including a nice Danzig franking but the passport is largely unused. Very Good condition and scarce.  read more
