Not sure exactly what this is but it seems to be moulded from a grey painted plastic/fibreglass material in one piece. It has a German M31 pattern leather lining size-stamped '57-61' with the Bundeswehr-American fitting and a blue-grey webbing chinstrap which has an american-type quick-release metal buckle. Anodised-aluminium Staybrite (Queen's crown) Royal Artillery beret badge complete with slider fixing on the reverse which is stamped with the maker's name "J.R.Gaunt B'ham". The beret-badge is accompanied by a pair of matching Staybrite collar badges complete with lug & split-pin fixings on the reverse. These were made by J.R. Gaunt, London.  read more
