Spain : Breast Star of The Order of Military Merit 2nd Class with White Distinction.

Pin-back silver breast star (65mm dia) surmounted by a beautifully white enamelled cross of the order (for non-combat merit). Between the arms of the cross are gilt lions and castle emblems of the royal houses of Leon and Castile. The cross and emblems are neatly rivetted in place. The reverse of the star has a vertical pin & hook fixing together with two stabilising hooks for securing the award to the uniform.
