Gilt-brass Imperial crowned eagle holding shield, orb and sceptre. The eagle is curved to fit snugly onto the shako / helmet. The reverse has two elongated fixing lugs/ loops. Wingspan across the curvature is 125mm and if the eagle was flat it would be about 135mm. Overall height 100mm.The fixing lugs are approx. 60mm apart. Excellent condition.  read more

Straight sided fez-like circular black cloth traditional ceremonial hat with gold-wire hand-embroidered border around the top edge and a large gold-wire hand-embroidered Bergbau badge on the front. This consists of two crossed mining tools within a laurel wreath. The inside is lined with black satin and a white leather sweatband.
