Originally HMS Tartar was a WW2 Tribal Class destroyer.. The name was subsequently passed on to a Tribal Class Frigate (F133) in the 1960s.and decommissioned in 1984 when it was sold to Indonesia.  read more

a) Pressed silvered-brass pin-back brooch of an officer's Pickelhaube pierced by a sabre. The sabre is removable.
b) Brass miniature sword which could be a hat-pin, cocktail-stick or tie-pin. Overall length 60mm. The hilt has a piece of ribbon in the German colours tied to the hilt.
