Requirements for membership was to have served in the World War II Burma campaign and qualified for the Burma Star or the Pacific Star with 'Burma' clasp. Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name which has some minor age-darkening / tarnish to part of the lettering otherwise excellent condition.
HMS Crichton is one of the 118 vessels that made up the Ton Class of minesweepers. She was completed in 1953 and finally broken up in 1987.

HMS Maxton (M1165) was a Ton-class minesweeper built by Harland and Wolff in the 1950s.

Imperial : German WW1 Coloured Postcard.

Coloured postcard showing a painting of an Unteroffizier of the (Königliche Sächsische) Schützen (Füsilier) Regiment Prinz Georg Nr.108 (Dresden) in field uniform, 1914-15. The card was issued to raise funds for the Red Cross and bears this information on the reverse. The card has a handwritten message and was posted to Erwin Geisler in Landsberg an der Warthe on 28 December 1915.  read more

Very nice cross with magnetic core, original black finish and attractive toning to the silver frame. The ring has a two digit makers stamp '? W". The cross is complete with a good length of new ribbon.  read more
