Nice original German Imperial Prussian enlisted ranks' field-grey cloth "Krätzchen" with bright red cap-band and piping around the crown. The front has the national red/white/black cockade above the Prussian black & white state cockade. There is some discolouration and paint-loss to the white on the national cockade. WW2 Pioneer Corp Plastic War-economy Cap-badge.
Brown plastic King's crown cap-badge complete with both brass blade fixings on the reverse along with the makers mark "A. Stanley & Sons, Walsall". There is also a "1.A" reference number.
Raised in 1939, The Pioneer Corps had existed previously in WW1 as The Labour Corps. After WW2 they became The Royal Pioneer Corps. read more

Grey-painted steel one-piece buckle with no maker's marks other than a faint 'O' outline behind the shield. Excellent condition with only minimal wear to the highlights. Worn between c.1929 and 1933, this is a very scarce early buckle. read more
