Northumbrian District (Northern Command) Pair of Machine-embroidered Shoulder-flashes.

Machine-embroidered St.Oswald's shield in yellow and red on blue. This is the second pattern with eight stripes as opposed to the earlier six. Matched on the front although the reverses differ. Very good condition.  read more

Women's Royal Voluntary Service Long Service Medal with Case & Letter.

Attributable but un-named as issued in its original green titled presentation case together with the accompanying letter describing how / when the medal should be worn. The letter bears the recipient's name, Mrs.B.R.Wilkins.
The set is complete with a spare length of ribbon.
Looking at the reference on the letter, it may indicate that the award was made in 1981.
