Imperial : German WW1 Printed Silk Bookmark in the Vivat Series.
Screen printed in black on light-blue, 33.5cms long x 65mm wide commemorating the heroism of the merchant raider SMS Möwe in February 1916 under the command of Korvettenkapitän Graf zu Dohna-Schlodien. These bookmarks were sold to raise funds for the German Red Cross. Some minor discolouration but generally a good example of these scarce items. read more

Back-pack with brown fur cowhide front flap complete with leather shoulder-straps and all buckles, buttons, etc. Inside is olive canvas with mess-tin pouch, etc. The pack is in excellent condition and has only one small wear hole in a side-panel. It bears the makers stamp "Maury & Co., Offenbach a/M. 1937" In several places the original owners name 'Laumann' appears.
