Pair of Post-war Souvenir Items from The German Underground Hospital in Jersey.

Small pottery cream jug (55mm high) with hand-painted representation of the hospital entrance and the inscription "German Hospital Jersey". This is accompanied by a grey painted pottery German steel-helmet bearing a swastika on the top.
Both items in excellent condition.
(I have had these for a good many years and I believe they must date from the '80s).  read more

Third Reich : Pair of Army Casualty Memorial Cards for Brothers.

Two memorial cards commemorating two brothers. Artllery Obergefreiter Josef Liebl, an early casualty who died from wounds received on the Eastern Front on 12 July 1941. His older brother Oberschütze Johann Liebll was also killed in the east on on 2 February 1942.

Blackened-brass King's crown (post 1905) cap-badge complete with slider-fixing on the reverse together with a single "KRR" shoulder-title with lugs & split-pin fixing on the reverse. Some light wear to the blackened finish on the cap-badge and some oxidation on the reverse at the top of the slider (presumably caused by the wearer not drying his cap correctly after getting wet).  read more
