Four gilded-brass stars / pips with blue enamelled garter and red enamel central cross. These were worn on No.1 dress by officers of the Grenadier, Coldstream and Welsh Guards. Dark-blue hard gold-titled case with black flock fitted lining to accommodate the medal. No medal I'm afraid but there is a 165mm length of new ribbon for the medal. The inside lid bears the Royal Mint crest. Mint condition.  read more

Green card fitted medal-box bearing the Bigbury Mint logo on the lid. The interior is black flock lined and fitted to accommodate a 35mm dia medal with a straight suspender.. The box has a sponge pad to hold the medal in place and a Bigbury Mint card. The Bigbury Mint produces a range of unofficial military awards for veterans, etc. Excellent condition.  read more

Royal Navy Ship's Cap-tally "HMS Nelson".

Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name which has age-darkening / tarnish to some of the lettering otherwise excellent condition.
HMS Nelson together with HMS Rodney were the two battleships of the Nelson Class built for the Royal Navy in the 1920s and were the first battleships built to meet the limitations of the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name which has some very minor age-discolouration / tarnish to some of the lettering otherwise excellent condition..
Originally HMS Tartar was a WW2 Tribal Class destroyer.. The name was subsequently passed on to a Tribal Class Frigate (F133) in the 1960s.and decommissioned in 1984 when it was sold to Indonesia.  read more
