King Edward VII London County Council 1909 Medal awarded to J.Mason.

Not a military award but a medal none-the-less. Bronze King Edward VII 1902 bronze medal awarded by London County Council in 1909 to J.Mason "for punctual attendance during the year 1908-9 and the three previous years". The medal does not have a ribbon but is worn from a decorative 1909-dated pin-back brooch. This medal was for school attendance. Excellent condition.  read more

Rare Belgian Army 1st Prize rifle-shooting competition award badge of the 1928 pattern. These were worn on the left upper-arm. Silver metal laurel-wreath with the principle design in gilt. The title scroll is interchangeable for the shooting class, eg. rifle, pistol, machine-gun, etc.

Anodised aluminium Prince of Wales feathers in gilt and silver complete with two lugs and split-pin fixing on the reverse.
This regiment was formed in 1969 by the amalgamation of the South Wales Borderers and the Welch Regiment. It lasted until 1st March 2006 when they were amalgamted with the Royal Welch Fusiliers to form the Royal Welsh.  read more
