Post-WW2 British 1949 Battledress Blouse and Trousers.

Khaki serge 1949-pattern battledress complete with all original insignia for a Royal Signals 2nd Lieutenant with HQ, Scottish Command. The blouse has two medal ribbons (1939-45 War Medal & General Service Medal). Complete with all buttons and buckles and marked size 11. The blouse is accompanied by a pair of 1949-pattern trousers size 11 dated 1953.

A very nice re-conditioned M.16 style helmet, painted dark-green with Danzig police decals applied on each side. The helmet was officially re-lined with a M.31 liner plus chin-strap having been refurbished after the First World War and used during the period of the Third Reich. World War 1 original German war news sheet dated 15 August 1918 issued to the troops to keep them informed of the general war situation. The double-sided sheet is 21cms x 16cms with a small tear in the bottom edge plus corner pin-holes which tend to indicate that it was displayed on a board at some stage.
