Grouping of Five Royal Commemorative Medals (Coronation, etc).

These are not military but a nice little grouping.
One is for Queen Victoria's 1897 Diamond Jubilee; one is for the 1911 coronation of King George V & Queen Mary and three different ones commemorating the coronation of King George VI & Queen Elizabeth. All are in very good condition with a length of red/white/blue ribbon.  read more

Third Reich : Bund der Kriegsblinden Deutschlands e.V (BKD) Members Pin-back Lapel-badge.

BDK (League of German War Blinded) enameled pin-back lapel-badge, 30mm dia, in black & yellow enamel on bronze. This organisation looked after veterans blinded whilst serving their country. Victims could also be identified by a yellow armband bearing the same black design. If the iron cross was not present then the person was not ex-military. A relatively scarce badge. Green enameled gilt-metal small lapel badge of the VdH (Association of Returnees), a charitable organisation established in 1950 in West Germany to look after and assist German and Austrian prisoners-of-war returning from Soviet captivity. Royal Artillery Queen's crown Anodised Aluminium Badge.

A nicely detailed Staybrite Royal Artillery badge, 5cms high x 6.5cms wide. The badge is flat and the reverse is smooth with two of three fixing prongs remaining. There is a makers mark of 'Swann & Hudson'. It is possible that this is for fixing to the front of an album or presentation piece. Very good condition.  read more
