WW1 The Royal Irish Regiment Cap-badge.

Brass Irish harp of Erin surmounted by a King's crown with title scroll beneath as worn from 1902 until the regiment was disbanded in 1922 when the Irish Free State came into being. The reverse has a slider fixing which is stamped with the manufacturer's name 'Smith & Wright Ld. B'ham'. The slider also shows a crimp mark. Very good condition and quite scarce.
