Belgium : Order of Leopold I Knight / Chevalier (5th Class) Breast-badge.

This very attractive award is the lowest grade of Belgium's highest national honorary order, established in 1832 by King Leopold I. It is a civil award, military awards would have crossed swords below the hinged crown. Enameled both front and back with separate medallions attached to each side. The bottom tips of the white enamel appear to have small repairs otherwise very good condition complete with original purple moiree ribbon.
