Third Reich : German Backing-plate for Court-mounting Medals.

Original pin-back zinc mounting-plate measuring 9cms x 4cms which would accommodate c. 2 or 3 medals on their furled ribbons. The ends of the bar are curved to match the curvature of the ribbons. The reverse has a long thick brass pin and hook. Very good condition and perfectly usable
