Third Reich / Imperial : German Backing-plate for Court-mounting Medals.

Original pin-back iron mounting measuring17cms x 4.5cms which would accommodate c. 5 or 6 medals on their furled ribbons. There is a small stitch-hole in each corner. The reverse has a long thick brass pin and hook. Very good condition and perfectly usable
