Portugal : Army 4th Company (4a CCP) of the 31st Parachute Battalion (BCP31) Formation-badge.

Enamel pin-back shield insignia with the unit motto "Mortiuus sed non victus" (Slain but not defeated) formation badge. The design features a paratrooper and a black panther on the red & green Portuguese national colours. No makers mark. The reverse has a handwritten name 'Silva'. scratched into the gilt finish.
Very scarce para-related badge in very good condition..
