Imperial / Weimar : German Membership Stick-pin Lapel-badge of the Deutsche Turnerverein (Gymnastics Association).

Vintage gilded brass emblem ( 11mm wide) showing the four 'F's' symbol of the association. This stands for Frisch, fromm, fröhlich, frei (Fresh, pious, happy, free).
The reverse has a long knurled stick-pin fixing. No makers mark. Very good condition and quite scarce.
