WW2 Cardboard Box for the Civilian Respirator.

Original sturdy cardboard-box for carrying the civilian respirator, usually worn over the shoulder from a string. Many people bought more fashionable alternative containers for carrying the gasmask and these boxes were discarded.
The box measures 17cms x 13.5cms x 11cms and has 'TOP' impressed into the lid and is stamped on each end 'M' for medium. Inside the lid has printed instructions for packing and wearing the respirator. Extremely good condition for its age and relatively scarce nowadays.
