WW2 Women's Institute "For Home and Country" Lapel-badge and Matching Decorative Spoon.

1940's 'National Federation of Women's Institutes' badge and matching decorative spoon.. The badge is gilded brass, oval (25mm x 20mm) with "WI" monogram in the centre. The red enamel rose depicts the British organisation and the Canadian maple leaf represents the mother organisation which began in Canada. The motto "For Home / and Country" inlaid in green enamel. The reverse bears the maker's details "W.O.Lewis (Badges) Ltd B'Ham". Very good condition with brooch-pin fitting.
The EPNickel-Silver spoon carries the identical enameled badge and has the same makers details on the reverse together with the 'EPNS' mark. All metal parts of the spoon are silver.
Both excellent condition..
