Third Reich : Luftwaffe Spanish Civil War Condor Legion Trench Art Souvenir Piece.

Trench-art type scimitar, 23cms overall length, made from brass with a brass & steel grip consisting of alternating screw washers,. The grip can be dismantled. One side of the blade has a small first-pattern Luftwaffe eagle & swastika attached near the tip and is engraved "Kämpfe in Spanien 1936 - 1939" (Fighting in Spain 1936-1939) whilst the other side of the blade is engraved in gothic script "Legion Condor".
Unusual and scarce possibly unique souvenir of the Condor Legion.in excellent condition.
