Royal Navy Ship's Cap-tally "HMS Hardy".
Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name which has age-darkening / tarnish to some of the lettering otherwise excellent condition.
The latest HMS Hardy was an anti-submarine warfare Type 14 frigate of the Blackwood Class. She was named after Thomas Masterman Hardy, Captain of HMS Victory at the Battle of Trafalgar. HMS Hardy was the first Type 14 frigate built, completed by Yarrow Shipbuilders on 8 December 1955. She was eventually sunk as a target in July 1984.
