Royal Navy Ship's Cap-tally "HMS Juno"

Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name in excellent condition.
HMS Juno was a Royal Navy Leander-class frigate and, like the rest of her class, she was named after a figure of mythology. She was built by Thornycroft of Woolston, Hampshire and launched in November 1965.
The ship had a very active life including two collisions during the Cod War with Iceland. She was finally sold for scrap in 1994.
