Full-length ribbon with gold wire woven ship's name which has a tiny bit of age-darkening / tarnish to a small area of the lettering otherwise excellent condition.
HMS Kingfisher (P260) was a Bird-class Royal Navy patrol vessel launched on 20 September 1974 and commissioned on 8 October 1975. For most of her life, her patrol duties were as part of the Northern Ireland Squadron through the 1980s and into the 1990s. She was eventually sold in 1996.
