Imperial : German Commemorative Medal for the King of Bavaria's 1st & 3rd Armeecorps Military Manouvres 1911.

Aluminium-alloy square lozenge-shaped medal, 32mm x 32mm, showing the head of three Bavarian princes / commanders on the obverse. On the reverse is a view of Velden in Bavaria used as the Headquarters for the Manoeuvres which were held in a large area north-east of Munich. At the top is the title " Königs Manöver d.1u3-Armeecorps 1911". At the bottom is a list of the principal places where the exercises took place :Mühldorf, Rohrbach, Ampfing, Vilsbiburg, Dorfen, Erding, Moosburg and Landshut. Very good condition with a piece of original blue / white ribbon. Scarce.
