Imperial : German Commemorative Medal for the Kaiser's Grand Military Manouvres 1909.

Aluminium-alloy medal, 37mm dia showing the helmeted head of Kaiser Wilhelm II on the obverse. On the reverse is Schloss Mergentheim in Baden used as the Headquarters of the Kaiser during the Manoeuvres / exercises. Around the edge is "Zur Erinnerung an das grosse Kaisermanöver 1909" (To commemorate the Grand Kaiser Manoeuvres 1909). Medal has its original (?) ribbon. The medal itself shows some signs of wear.
